Dragonfly T Vermeil, also known at "Mei", was one of 3 doelings born to Dragfonly L Cinnabar *M sired by CH Flat Rocks Tuan at Dragonfly Farm.  Cinnabar was a bit shy when she kidded, and didn't want to have her kids while I was anywhere nearby.  But alas, Cinnabar didn't get her way and Vermeil was the first one delivered.  While I was toweling her off, the second nearly fell out on her head!  Vermeil spent more time on my lap while Cinn delivered the 3rd.  With all of the handling this girl received as a neonate, she quickly became the most tame of the triplets, despite the suspicious dam they had!

Cinnabar learned to be compliant and friendly on the milkstand and doesn't show signs of shyness except when faced with being milked by strangers.  Vermeil, on the other hand, has always been very friendly, and enjoys milking time.  Like her dam, she produces a nice amount of creamy, delicious milk.  She is nicely put together as well, with strong legs, feet and back.  Her udder texture is improved over her dam's.  She does lack in rear udder height, but her fore-udder and side attachments are doing a nice job of holding her capacious udder in place.

She will be bred to our "udder-buck", +*B Rosasharn BB Cento, who should improve upon that rear udder if anybody can!  Oh, I sure hope for girls!!

We are offering Vermeil for sale, $475, or confirmed bred to Cento, $675.
